I’ve never smelled anything like when they got her. She was a rescue, and she’d never had a bath so she just smelled like a dead thing.

I might give you that for the socks - that could pass as generic cute Boston Terrier shape. However, the t-shirt looks like they copy-pasted straight off her poster.
It’s to stop them being so cute that are bodily elevated to heaven by choirs of freaking angels!!
When Donald fails out of the presidency (please, when), his next business should be weight loss. Because I don’t think I’ll eat again until my memory blurs some of these words out.
...it’s like Law and Order in reverse. Real life is ripping off ideas from TV shows.
Yes! Or both raised by parents who thought Apocalypse scenarios for every eventuality was good child rearing. Plus I have watched embarrassing bodies - there was a man who got CHYLMYDIA in his EYE from a toilet wall in Spain. Once you know that, you can never pee in blissful ignorance again!
I know it’s because I’m almost pathologically uncool, but I know if I snorted coke off a toilet I would a: drop it in the toilet and b: spend the rest of the night high and terrified I had nose STDs.
Once at a disco, I had to go in to the ladies room and ask two very drunk lesbians to stop having sex and sniffing coke on the floor (I did not see the latter part, they were definitely high). I was young and, frankly, a lot out of my depth so I ended up telling them, ‘It’s not hygienic. Pigeons get in here.’*
I can’t dance at all/my friend used to do ballroom dance comps - we both just like watching people dance in sparkling costumes. It tends to be more fun if people are good, but it is all very impressive and sparkly.
My best story is someone else’s too! A guy I know was renting a house with a friend of his and having a lot of moderately wild parties. At one of them the local drug dealer turned up to, ah, peddle his wares. And stayed. For three months they shared a house with some random thug type they were scared to ask to move…
Pretty much. She’d be amazing, but it would be asking a lot to sign up for that again.
I kinda feel like you couldn’t pay Michelle Obama to run for President? I think she’d be awesome at it, but after all the shit she’s gotten I wonder if she’s just not glad to be getting out of there so she can do her life again. Maybe one of the kids eventually though!
I don’t think Fleabag is horrible. She’s not an easy character -- she’s grieving and angry and acerbic -- but I found her bothr relatable and likeable. She’s just a person, really, one that be awful and great in the same day.
The key is to keep the food outside the spray, shovelling it in your mouth with one hand while lathering with the other. It will taste a bit like shampoo, but if you are running late it does streamline somewhat.
Not the OP, but I felt something similar. It’s not that I think she shouldn’t be prosecuted, she definitely should, but I have the, possibly ugly, feeling that cases like this -- where a minority offender is wheeled out to face justice -- are just a Judas Goat. As if the PTB are loading up their least valued members…
My friend used to love -- LOVE -- Hugh Grant. These days she won’t even admit that that used to be true.
Same actually! I’d had loads of time off with tonsillitis, then haemoragged when I got them out so more time off. He told me that I shouldn’t take a place in grammar school (UK), because I was taking it away from a kid that really deserved it.
Hey, one of my teachers told me that too! Due to my frequent absences due to a chronic illness, in fact. Sometimes when you talk about your old school days, do you wonder why we aren’t more in favour of home schooling?
I loved him in One Man, Two Guv’nors - although, to be fair, I also loved Rufus Hound in it. Mostly though, he seems to be the same character in every show I’ve seen him. Gormlessly good natured - up for poking fun at himself - and there’s not much range beyond that.
Didn’t they comment extensively on how unfair it was to police the reactions of the athletes at the Olympics? Genuinely asking, since it annoyed a bunch of people I read but I swear I say them on here.
