No, no no no no. :D It was just late and I was rambly! It was a garbage disposal receptacle, a place it is gross but not Hellraiser levels of upsetting to have a maggot infestation.

Ppfts, there is nothing sexier than feeling sure your waste disposal paraphernalia is free of maggots! And to be honest, on the morning it happened I was outside in a pair of shortie pyjamas squealing and trying to powerhouse maggots into a drain....so....the honey has nowt on me!

Shame - it is very good.

I should really stop commenting on things when I am sleep deprived! And also, just thinking about the other option - I think I would have used more Jeyes fluid!

Yeah....it was really late here when I was commenting 😅 I could have POSSIBLY phrased that better. It was the outside bin....because I don't think anything would have felt clean again if it hadn't been!

Oh - on the feeling good to mommy front - there is a vibrator that you can plug into your iPod. Then it vibrates to the music. My friend had one. Which was weird, because she was seriously into heavy metal/death metal which you would not think would feel good against your lady bits.

I am thinking it was for Jeyes Fluid? Which is awesome. I used it the summer I got a maggot infestation in the bin (the bin men had been, and in the process of tipping the bin out the maggots had gone...everywhere, of God, the memories...) and boiling water and Jeyes leaves you a lot happier that things are clean. It…

Except wasn’t Currie going to write about it happening in her biography? At the time Fox denied it was her and - I think - threatened litigation to get it removed from the book?

Who were the witnesses? I read some of the stories the first time around, but I’d missed that bit.

I kinda find it annoying that nerddom is coded as male. The guys are the only ones on the show into fandom and comic con, with the women usually rolling their eyes in annoyed forbearance or outright contempt. It doesn’t feel like a show that cares about my opinion.

I do like Sandman as well, but...while I like GNs I prefer novels. American Gods, I loved to distraction but it hit a lot of my ‘I like these things’ buttons. There’s a lot of gods and myths, and how those things were folded into the fabric of America? It has a similarly narrative aesthetic to Sandman. I think anyhow…

Was it American Gods? American Gods was the best! (Although the sequel was close). If you disagree then you’re wrong! (or we have very varying tastes, or American Gods hasn’t necessarily aged well and I’d love it less if I read it now for the first time.)

I know someone who has recycled nudes to the SAME DUDE! She’s sent him the same picture of her nips about five times, either he’s never noticed or he doesn’t care!

Yeah, I know lots of kids just roll with it but I can’t imagine. I hate dolls or portraits when I’m sleeping, and my niece used to have terrible nightmares about the Victorian dolls her mum had collected for her.

Ok, on my tablet the animation in the header doesn’t work. So until I scrolled down to catch the comments, I was honestly thinking ‘is that photoshopped, or has John Legend always had dead, soulless doll eyes? Why is his head so big! This needs addressed?’

You would need to ask someone better informed on the topics at hand for that one.

Maybe. Some of the things that were chronicled last time - like the strong suspicions that she made up a lot of racist abuse she claimed to receive - indicate a need to be at the centre of the drama storm. But then, some people are just assholes who love being the centre of attention good or bad.

Dolezal positioned herself as an expert based on lived experiences she didn’t actually experience. She didn’t just identify as being African-American, she made up a whole weird back story of abuse and racism and used that to claim special expertise on race. In addition - if I remember correctly - she dismissed actual…

Ohhh, Benefit’s They’re Real eyeliner is awesome sauce. It has a angled applicator and goes on like a felt tip pen, and lasts all day - seriously I had to buy better eye make up rmov to get it off. It is very nice. (Although my - must have - for xmas buy is their undereye concealer.)

Maybe, but coeliacs isn’t an allergy.
