The game is pretty average... almost subpar. It's real pretty though.

I don't understand your feelings? Consoles have been putting a limit on the industry as a whole (PC gaming), but I think the new generation will help. It's not just about the graphics, but allows for more dynamic story telling and open more convincing worlds.

I actually find it worse this go around. In the series at least you had some idea of why felt the way he did or why he did what he did. In the this new series he's so naive and blind to others its insane.

I wouldn't call it a trilogy considering the way Crysis 2 completely ignores the first game other than using a few character names.

with way games are made now this may happen anyway. I play on PC and a lot of new games give you very few video options when it comes to brightness and contrast... if any.

I had been thinking of the ooze as somehow accelerating evolution. The first few iterations of its contact with other organisms basically produced organisms who's sole purpose in life is to reproduce. We also notice that in "Aliens" the xenomorphs are formed an organized colony and showed signs of intelligence.
