I rock a 8600gt and can still play most games on High. 2010 and this year is when I am finally starting to see the age of my video card which was already old. I can't play anything on dx11 and 10 is pushing it, but things still look nice... (better than a console :(

May I ask why? I would personally want a close look, but would be too much of coward to closer than maybe 6 to 10 feet.
