@Altima NEO: Depends on the type of challenge. Challenge as a product of bad design = anger of player. Challenge of good design = fun and sense of accomplishment for player(Portal for example) .

@taminosk: Perfect Dark was good for its time... a nice mix of hunting and linear play.

@Jonathan Altman: Hunting can be cool, but lots of games use in a cheap time consuming way. The cut scene thing can also be cool, but often starts to get old... we need fresh thinkers.

@HappyCakeOven: I meant in terms of contributing to the community also(I was also talking about american cultures also). I think you all are talking about subcultures that have stronger visuals and substance. Based on what I have of some Japanese subcultures... some of them don't really have all that much going on…
