I firmly believe that if knowing the ending ruins the movie, it’s not a very good movie. I want to know all the things.

This story, as well as those about Treyvon Martin, Michael Brown, and the other murders that have lead to the Black Lives Matter movement is getting A LOT of press in Canada. Hopefully it’s getting a lot of press internationally and there will be outside pressure on the U.S. authorities to really, finally do something…

We have likely at least one currently liberal SCOTUS spot up this next president cycle. It’s absolutely imperative that we can make sure that SCOTUS has a science-based, progressive mind who values lives of actual people over those of groups of womb-dependent cells. You know, real people over theoretical ones.

How different are “grieving for the death of a mother” and “grieving for the loss of a mother”? At least in the former there is a finality to assuage the grief. In the latter you get the same feeling of loss but with no closure.

Just because her mother’s still alive, doesn’t mean the girl can’t be grieving that her mother either can’t or won’t ever be there for her again. Her entire world just shifted dramatically, she’s having to live with strangers and go to school with strangers, and might never see her family or friends again.
