I am a non-critic regular person who was around when the original trilogy was in theaters and who enjoyed TLJ. I remember young Luke Skywalker being extremely whiny, and it makes complete sense that he’d turn into a disgruntled old hermit. It confuses me that more people don’t see it that way.

They goddamn better. 

I detect a tinge of resentment in this review, and I suspect that will be the position of most critics, since so many of them absolutely loved The Last Jedi. Fans of Joker were blasting the AVC for being biased against Joker despite Dowd giving Joker a good review because that just proved how deep the bias went. Or something.

“It’s OK” seems to be the consensus.

He is unfunny and I won’t go to his shows...  I don’t see a contradiction.

I tend to think of Pete Davidson as less of an NDA guy, and more of a DUI guy.

I prefer my NDAs with a dry rub. You get a richer, more legally binding flavour.

It’s amazing how these idiots are going to kill live comedy through audience NDAs, and not the expected method, by being extremely bad at live comedy.

Davidson opened his show by urinating on himself and then kicked a puppy into the front row. I got up and demanded a refund. Second worst show I’ve ever been to.

So if you don't want to sign it you also will be GIVING a full refund? I will not be "brining" this with me 

I’m waiting for his venue or his ticket vendor to take him to court for imposing conditions on a customer beyond the purchase agreement after money has changed hands.

Clearly the right response is for everyone who didn't go to tweet about it and make up whatever shit they want about how much he sucked.

Well it’s understandable he’s truly a comedic legend with such a long and beautifully inspiring career. It’s an honor and a privilege to even be allowed entrance to a show of comedy by the iconic Pete Davidson.
