I also keep duplicates - especially lip balm! And I agree - I almost have a uniform, because I just picked the most comfortable articles of clothing and buy multiples. Makes getting dressed so much less of a chore, and, surprisingly to me, makes getting dressed on the rate occasions I “dress up” more fun!

I keep meaning to put together outfits on a hanger so I can just pull out a hanger in the morning but I think I need to do some paring down first.

My hack: BUY MULTIPLES of things you use constantly! Keep them in multiple locations where you use them. This list of items will be unique to each person.

I love your clothing strategy! I just did that with tights. So many tights. All the tights! But I think I need to honestly go through my closet and recognize that there are things I haven’t worn in months or years and probably won’t wear again, so they can go to someone who actually will.

I use a lingerie bag for my socks. Then they never get separated.

I did that with my bras and underwear, too. I only buy black and nude undies, and white and black socks. Because it makes me feel like a full ass adult when my bra matches my panties.
