This illustrates the dot-com bubble expertly.
I have done that, yes. It’s good, just different — I imagine like dipping regular chips in barbecue sauce instead of eating barbecue chips.
Ketchup potato chips are SO GOOD. I had them once as a kid, and there's been a ketchup-potato-chip-shaped hole in my heart ever since.
Cool, I hope that they work out for you. What do you use for exfoliation now? Just a heads-up, the PCA toner is the more aggressive of the two, so if you go with that one, I would phase it in slowly. I find that one works better when I use just a little product at a time.
Nice try, parents! Magic is dead.
Ha, nice going! I felt the same way, kind of proud of myself for figuring it out. Hope your siblings got a few more years out of it. :)
I guess they work for some folks, but my skin just laughs and says “nice try.” I alternate between using a Buf Puf (a gentle loofa for your face) and enzyme exfoliants (PCA Skin Smoothing Toner or Peter Thomas Roth Pumpkin Peel are two favorites, but any AHA/BHA or lactic acid product should do the trick). Switching…
This is exactly how I figured it out! My mom wrote me a thank you note “from Santa” for leaving out milk and cookies, and on Christmas morning, I was like, “uhh, so this was you, right?” I was not at all phased, but she still feels guilty about it, ha.
My dad forgot to get something at the store once, and my stepmom jokingly told me that he had a hole in his head. Very concerned to learn about this, I asked her why, and she said it was because he got hit on the head with a golf ball.
Seriously. They're not even good at exfoliating!
Are you reality?!?
This one time, I was working on a site for a very fancy home goods brand. My boss was very excited to tell me that we could all get the 10% employee discount on their $135 candles when we launched.
Hahaha. Omg, never. She would have to seriously be destitute.
YES! This is so good. She would make one hell of a Christmas record.
LOVE fresh ginger “tea”! I haven't tried ginger chews, but I'm on the case. Thank you!
Thanks :) I have noticed that warmer water in the neti pot helps to clear things out more effectively, and I will give the hot tea trick a shot. How do you manage your allergies?
I love a good shower snot rocket session :)
Thanks so much. I feel you — I’ve had bouts of chronic sinusitis since I was a kid, and I swear I’ve got sinus barnacles. What was your experience with sinus surgery like? The ENT I saw said that that’s basically the only other thing she could recommend beyond my current protocol, but she wasn't very enthusiastic…
What are your weirdest get-better-ASAP remedies when you are sick? I have a sinus thing/post-nasal drip cough for the 6th time this year (2015 can really just go suck it), and I’m doing everything I can to prevent this from becoming a 3-week drama. I’m already down with the neti pot. What do you recommend?
