The Bucks new owners have a history with Kidd. The one was a minority owner of the Nets while Kidd played there then became his financial advisor. Also, I think the Bucks feel the "sexiness" of Jason Kidd at HC might help draw potential free agents in the near future.

Couple of bullet points in Jason Kidd's coaching career thus far:
Clint and McGary both have a very Spursian vibe to them. Undervalued for different reasons (exposure, injuries) but can thrive in the right situation.

I know comparing Manziel's off the field stuff with Hernandez is not fair, but I would imagine the Patriots and most organizations have very similar reports on him…
