i think everyone is right to feel let down, at least a little. i wont lie i was excited to see what today’s announcement had in store but as it got closer to the end I started thinking “what the...?” i was excited and planned to drop more $$$ for this?

hear hear! Nintendo already blocks other systems from being able to buy certain virtual console games. they could easily set up a mini-NES or better yet a mini-SNES to access the store and only buy games for the appropriate system. i’d pay for that.

I’m surprised the Chrono Trigger Mode 7 fireworks aren’t listed here.

looking over your list makes me realize again how awesome it was to grow up getting to experience so many of the greats you have listed here.

i think i reacted like that exactly when i skimmed over the article and read “So out of sheer desperation, I pinched out the contact lens, taking a chunk out my eye with it.” and then re-read “...taking a chunk out my eye with it.”

I too have had the unfortunate run in with my contacts and ghost peppers. (as well as some other less intense variety) painful as hell but it was no manmade concoction of solvents and polymers.
