Have you looked at the analysis of pretty much every exotic compared to a Corvette? This is nothing new in the automotive world.

I would tend to agree. For me, cars fall into two different categories. Either they are capable of driving straight across the content without stopping longer than it takes for my kids to go pee, or they aren't.

Have you compared the fuel efficiency of the average 911 GT2 to a 4 person Camry...? Porsche has never been all about fuel mileage.

Agreed. I've spent half my adult life waiting for Minnesotans in large SUVs to shuttle back and forth trying to get backed into a parking space. It's like watching a mother bird sit down to roost on her clutch of eggs.

That realization you get when you realize the awesome pullthrough you got when coming to the grocery store now means you have to schlep grocery bags between your car and that filthy, dirt covered Taurus, then put them in the trunk with that Yukon pulled in right to your rear bumper...

Properly designed gearsets don’t have gears sliding against each other

No kidding. How many times have we all been lectured to that NOBODY needs more than about 35 miles of range a day in their car and so EVERYBODY should have been driving one of the plug in hybrids as much as a decade ago.

“How am I supposed to grant my favor upon people who are cowed into following my personal social policies if we all agree to only use the left lane for passing...?”

Agreed.

My concern is more to do with used cars. I won’t take the car hone with a dealer sticker on it as I don’t know if it has been on there from day one and the paint around it has faded to the point that there is a noticeable outline.

6 hours of my time is almost certainly worth more than the amount of money the dealership has for wiggle room on the sale of any car I am looking to buy.

Don’t think this is some magical incantation you have concocted. It only works when dealerships decide to let it work.

Yes, but it isn’t like that stereotype is completely unearned. There’s a legitimate reason for people to be skeptical, guarded and all around distrusting of car dealerships.

This. Just be honest. Don’t try to douchbag your way through it. The dealer knows the minimum they will accept for a sale. Find out if you and he can come to an agreement somewhere at, or just above that number by being honest, curtius and respectful. And if not, walk away from it with some maturity.

I'm fine with the plate surround, as it takes 30 seconds to remove when I get home. But I don't think I would agree to drive a car off the lot if it still has a dealer sticker on it.

How America and Iran danced to the brink of war...

Unless you are Barny Rubble, it shouldn't be that big of an issue to operate a car with no shoes.

It’s a gaseous ball of hydrogen, but that’s hardly important right now.”

Old and not worth what they are asking. But I wouldn't say that most of their models are ugly.

How about if you think you have the right to tell someone where they can and can’t live such that it meets your sense of “acceptable road use” you go eat a bucket of dicks instead...?
