IDK, while it is obvious that cars depreciate like stupid right after new, it seems that for a number of them there is a bit of a lull in the depreciation/cost of ownership curve around 8 to 10 years. After that stuff can get expensive, like replacing valve chains/guides; suspension components, etc.

Agreed. I have the single cell version of this light and it is stupid bright. It does a decent job at both a wide area flood and zoomed down for spotlight use. The only negative I have is that the knurling is not that effective. The light can be a little slippery in cold/wet hands or with gloves on.
