I can’t think of a worse scenario than trying to do work while sitting/laying/hunched in that horrible position you are put in when trying to prop yourself up with pillows in bed. It’s like trying to get work done while being reclined back in a recliner.

In a previous lifetime I was a lifeguard for a number of years, then head guard at a waterpark, then certified life guard instructor. The most scary situation was always the full size adult that was panicking, because in their panicked state they pose a real danger to the lifeguard. However, the most insidious event

IDK, I do agree that it is an amazing concentration of violence, all in one place at one moment in time. But for me, being able to keep a car racing for 24 hours deserves a lot more respect than being able to make crazy power numbers for 4 seconds, then having to replace all the parts.

If you think that’s bad, don’t ever drive on a public road that allows you to pay a toll to drive in the funds generating lane HOV lane.

What SPECIFIC job do you have? Because “STEM” is a rather broad term that people love to cram as many non-stem things into as possible.

That I can pretty much agree with. I much prefer alcantara to leather on seats.

Tend to agree. Pick someone more deserving than Theon. And while we are at it, there hasn’t been umpteen dozen, “Oh, look at you! You got dat Velarian Steel sword you’re sporting!” references over the last few years just to have the main bad guy die by dragon glass.

Interesting take. I had the opposite feeling. I really liked both BotW and Horizon. But for different reasons. I loved BotWs atmosphere and how it got exploration really right. But the story was quite lacking and rather tacked on. Whereas I really thought Horizon benefited from its story a lot. Although I would say

Kind of agree. The time I para-glided from way up above to drop directly onto the back of an unsuspecting lynel, then start hacking on it from the saddle, was much more in line with the game than having to walk into a cutscene before a major boss fight started.

Tend to agree.

Ooooo... I have to party with you some Friday night!

I would have also accepted “...that driver is in a car with a Wisconsin license plate.”

If you have fallen back three or more car lengths because you are concerned the driver in front of you does not fully understand, or is not fully capable of negotiating an otherwise unimpeded, straight road; that driver is in an old Saturn.

Disagree. Light colored leather is nasty.

I would argue that giving them access to a “non-disposable” car will not teach them pride or reduce their reckless behavior, any more than letting them sit on a $7,000 couch will prevent them from picking their nose and wiping it on the side of the armrest.

This exactly. Teens should have access to a completely unremarkable, utilitarian, under-powered vehicle that generates no lust or enjoyment beyond it’s direct ability to move the teen from point A to point B.

If you’re chauffeuring your 21 year old child (who doesn’t have a neurological or muscular disorder) around, you are the reason they are insufferable.

Meh. Back in 2001, a decent 10-12 year old car was an absolute piece of shit.

Universal law of nature - Teens shouldn’t have new cars.

I played this back in college, and have played most of the FF games. I remember thinking it was a big moment in the game when she died, but otherwise feeling somewhat ambivalent/unsure as to why she died.
