Proper classification.
Proper classification.
Because the average worker cares about the corporations...?
Dude. Seriously, my only real intent here was to point out how licensure is often shit and gives busybody councils and city planners the ability to get into people's business. So get fucked.
Probably why the cop *talked* to him, then called someone to figure out wth to do, then ultimately left him to do what he was doing.
Where did anyone say this should be shut down?
Section 3, top of page 5. In his state you need a license to legally cut hair. (And in another post I linked to the section of the code that applies to him that stipulates why you can’t legally cut hair out on the sidewalk in his state, per the code of that licencesure.)
If those violations are happening on the sidewalk while they are walking by it isn’t cra-cra to think they would be.
Yeah. Toyota is totally going to put 4 piston brembos on the 85 bajillion camrys they sell because of NASCAR.
Google says that is incorrect... Which leads back to my original comment.
You’re saying that cops have never responded to a health code violation?
They probably didn’t/don’t have a basis to arrest him, but he could have lost his license.
How was he acting like an asshole? From the video clip he looked like he was talking with the barber, then got on his phone to call somebody, probably his boss. If anything, he looked like some dude that didn’t have any authority to decide if it was ok himself.
IDK. I’m guessing there is a local/state something ordinance/requirement in the hairstylist/barber code/licensure that doesn’t allow this. As such, the cop isn’t really wrong for pushing back on this.
I think you are unfairly singling out NASCAR comments and not giving proper due to all comments here when you make those kinds of claims.
Because watching production cars race would be really boring... Until the second or third lap when the brakes become completely cooked and unusable.
So if you work for a crappy company, pay the upgrade out of pocket and resent your employer for it. Plane companies don’t have a responsibility to only offer flights you wish your employer would pay for you.
I remember one argument online where some dude argued that profanity should be allowed because “We’re all adults here...” As if adults feel the need to run wild with the potty-mouth.
It would be beneficial to have links to the actual legislation to form a better opinion on the topic.
Yeah no. I’m talking about taking 3+ minutes per block just inching uphills, bumper to bumper, 3 or 4 blocks at a time. With people mad as hell if you wait a bit, because everyone is trying to get across intersections before the lights turn red.
And I now have an incentive to pick up the scooter, roll it over 20 feet to private property, wait a minute, then call for my $10 payment.
