Have to agree. A person can do things you agree with while also doing things you find very wrong.

“Preferable” is not what we are talking about here. Bill claimed that anything less than Business class wasn’t accessible. Which is a garbage claim.
Is it really old white men who hold this view any differently than the rest of the population?
Ever sat 3 adults in the back row of a minivan?
Agreed. Or just paying an extra $8 or so to get a seat with more legroom, and not in the last 7 rows where you get to smell the bathrooms and listen to the engine exhaust the whole trip.
I think a lot of the animus is actually from those of us who are low level employees at companies with travel policies (or dick bosses) that insist business travel be conducted in the cheapest seats possible.
I don't think your snarky comment was typed the way you envisioned it in your head...
Meh. I’m 6'1" and 250 lbs. I fly fine. Am I enjoying myself? No. But I am no less comfortable than I would be sitting in the back seat of any car that costs less than $100k. And I'm getting to my destination at over 300 mph.
You don’t want to give any credit, for it being cheaper, to the guys and gals that are designing and building airplanes with advanced materials, making them much lighter (allowing for vastly more cargo capacity?) Or amazingly advanced jet engines (geared high bypass turbo fans that run as high as 20,000 RPM while…
Damn straight. And because of capitalism, if you wanted to, you could decide to fly across the country this morning and easily be there in time for dinner. And it would hardly cost you a thing.
So was the ugly duck supposed to be like a raspberry flavored chocolate? What’s the deal with the pink splotches?
Have to agree. I really don’t think it was white privilege that allowed Dr. Dre to applaud his daughter getting into USC “on her own.”
I can totally see the argument that esports games themselves don’t require real skill, but I can’t see how someone could claim one type of video game vs another doesn’t require skill.
Counterpoint - Nobody in the Midwest has ever heard of the word, “Michelada” and none of them would ever label a dip “vegan party dip.” They would just unpretentiously call it “dip” and move on with the festivities.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. The Lumina/Buick/Pontiac/Taurus/Camry/Stratus shown here is both boring and ugly.
Meh. College costs have nothing to do with rich people willing to pay money to gain influence. You definitely can feel outrage at colleges for the absurdly perverse financial situation that is the “college experience” and you can feel outrage at rich people buying discretion, but it is silly to suggest one is…
Mostly just an example of insular bubble living. Obviously to a certain demographic of people in that particular area of the country it is very important. To the VAST majority of people (including successful people) in the country, if you say USC they don’t know if you are talking about University of South Carolina,…
Complete agreement. My only guess is that by concentrating so hard on this particular group, the higher education world hopes that everybody will be distracted from the fact that this is happening at all times and will continue happening long after everybody has a good laugh at Aunt Becky’s expense.
Meh. Some people like the project itself but may not be completely attached to the end product. For all we know he’s selling to free up space to work on the next project.
