It’s almost like there’s a reason for millions of years of evolution having developed and retaining the pain reflex.

Need to see in cab footage of the face of some dude that built up his Golf R to “slay” stock Lambos at the drag strip right after the tree turns green.
“Exploitation of labor" [wanking motion]
As any good jaded Gen Xer, I know that your glorious cash only lane is just a trap that will ensnare me in frustration and rage when the woman in line directly in front of me balls everything up because she never bothered to notice that this lane doesn’t take credit cards before proceeding to order 4 hot dogs, 2 nachos…
IDK. Going with rocky’s example, yeah you can get hosed by going to a Twins game, but you can also opt to go to a St Paul Saints game in the same metro area, where really good tickets are available for about $18 and honestly the atmosphere is better.
I can relate to the article example. Every year for about 4 or 5 years we’d take the kids to one of the Twins’ home games. Although none of us are baseball fans.
I’ve often thought about getting an extractor, but honestly it’s like a 5 minute job to drive the car up on ramps and drop the drain plug. I don’t need yet another big gadget sitting in my garage.
There were charges. The grand jury determined that their was enough evidence for 16 felony charges. The charges were submitted to the court, but then were dropped. That’s not the same thing as no charges being brought.
I hope some business owner gives her a job.
I don’t disagree that redistribution has a helpful effect. But I don’t think it is even close to the best method for increasing total wellness (for lack of a better word.) That said, some redistribution methods are vastly better than others.
Well, I’m going to continue having an adult conversation and you can choose to continue it with me or just call me names instead.
Personally, I think it is good to have traditions. That said, nobody is holding a gun to anyone’s head forcing them to buy a ring they can’t afford.
Could you elaborate more on what you see in the proposal being primarily physical work, or at least more-so than what is currently happening in the economy?
Assuming government redistribution properly addresses the negative impacts to America’s poor (something I have seen zero evidence to convince me is likely) do you believe this would be a net zero impact on the rest of the world’s poor? You speak about the global poor. I mean, you can’t just propose substantial…
Good luck with that. It is innate.
Do you believe poor people would suffer from her prescriptions though?
My kids are enthralled by our pup’s ability to stand on its back paws on flat ground. I think I will show them this and cut that bitch’s status down a peg or two.
That or maybe they just think that progressive prescriptions for the poor don’t work.
Rule #1 - Cardio
The single best advance in my automotive life (25+ years) is not needing to fumble to get keys out of my pocket in the middle of winter with gloves on, etc. That I could just walk up to the car and unlock it by pulling on the handle is glorious.
