Maybe in the context of one their many articles regarding social issues and gaming - but shoe horning it into the actual console review is just weird.

That’s why I got mine. My black ass could end up unemployed or dead whenever, so why not enjoy it?

Absurd addition to this review.  Are we going to mention ongoing tragedies in every review of luxury items and consumer products?  "Here's an RTX 3080, but let's reflect on the pandemic that has killed 240k Americans.  You probably should feel bad for buying this"

I think that’s definitely the tone he was going for, and I don’t think that’s a bad thing to say at all - I just think his phrasing took things a little too far. Again, once you invoke politics - especially on what’s theoretically a non-biased, non-political website - you’re opening yourself up to the interpretations

That’s not the vibe that I got from the end of the article at all. It was meant to reassure those who can’t necessarily afford one for various reasons that they don’t need to make further sacrifices to get one. It’s a wonderful product, sure, but as he said, it’s not going anywhere. If you are in a good enough

I get the feeling that even if the Elite controller got those features, developers (with the exception of maybe first party Xbox studios) won’t fully implement them in games. The same is likely going to be true for multiplatform games on PS5 as well, given the base Series controller doesn’t have those features.

As someone who’s legitimately excited about a Biden presidency, the notion that having ‘a different old white man sitting behind the Resolute desk’ would somehow make the ‘worst people’ ‘go away’ is... a bit much to take in a PS5 review. And kind of creepy, honestly. I’m not saying there’s no reason to feel that way,

Yep, what I want to read about in my reviews of products is the state of the world and politics.  BEST part of the review.

Nope. If you want to play your physical games, you need to get the physical PS4. More deets:

Now playing

Sony themselves already answered this question. You’ll need the Disc Drive version of the PS5 to play PS4 games if you only own the physical copy of the game. If you own the Digital Copy however, than you can just download the game directly from the PS Store.

No, if you have a digital only PS5 you can only play digitally owned PS4 titles.  You need to disc version of the PS5 to play disc versions of PS4 titles since there is no way for the system to know you are the current owner of that disc.

It’s nice to see that the battery looks replaceable, but the disassembly needed to get at it is a huge step backwards compared to the DS4 and DS3. :/

I’m curious whether Scuf or some of the other custom controller manufacturers are going to be able to put out their own version of this thing anytime soon. It looks pretty complicated. I’ve become pretty accustomed to having those buttons on the back. I’d take an update of the DS4 back button attachment thing if they

It’s an issue especially with the newer ones. I have gone through more than 5 controllers since I got the console on release and all failed due to this drift. It gets progressively worse over time until it actually registers movement. Connecting them to a PC where you can look at the calibration shows how far out of

He mentioned DS4 analog stick drift a bunch of times- has that been an issue for people? This is the first I’m hearing of it, and I haven’t had issues with 4 of my DS4 controllers.

God, fuck konami.

What if...and believe me, this is a big what if...both Depp and Heard are abusive, disgusting garbage people?

Probably didn’t help that Depp was doing a bad English accent throughout the proceedings.

The hair wave in this one is PlayStation 5-esqe.
