Hot take: Seth Meyers is at least as good as the last three years of Jon Stewart’s Daily Show. I say this as somebody who didn’t like him at all on Weekend Update. He’s quite good now, and we should move on.

In an education system where teachers have to pay out of their own pocket, out of their own (too small) salaries, for essential and necessary school supplies the idea of spending what little money schools are given on guns is frankly disgusting. Just, no other word for it, than disgusting.

She just looks miserable all the time. This isn’t a comment on her physical appearance or clothing or makeup: I see her and she never ever looks happy. Hell, she never looks even slightly pleased. She looks like she can’t stand her job, her life, the smell of roses, anything. Can she smile? We may never know.

and Judge Ellis is well known for how he runs his court. The prosecution did not bring in a local prosecutor familiar with Judge Ellis’ court and made several mistakes that caught the ire of the Judge. Hence his seemingly harsh attitude toward the prosecution. Nothing new to those familiar with Judge Ellis but…

Honestly, we should be glad the Judge was harsh and demanding of the prosecution. It weakens the arguments assholes will be throwing around saying that the trail was a farce by the deep state yadda yadda yadda.

Yeah, I guess I feel like, based on the odd behavior of the judge and the huge burden of paperwork larded onto the jurors that this is a win. Felonies are good.

I hope they retry him on the remaining counts, just to reemphasize what happens when you don’t cooperate and you act like a smug PoS.
