“...How is this lawlessness allowed to continue?” Let me spell it out R E P U B L I C A N.

This doesn't strike me as incompetence; this strikes me as very competent corruption. This administration has been extremely competent at using their political position to line their own pockets, in a way not seen in, what, a hundred years or possibly more?

It’s infuriating the level of gross incompetence in this administration, only to be compounded by intentional misconduct. They don’t give any fucks what they do to get what they want.

They made a decision, then lied to the American people by saying they would accept public input to guide their decision. When the input didn’t go the way of their predetermined solution, they lied a second time by saying that it was illegitimate traffic. They then kept lying as they repeated their second lie.

I mean, the real scandal here is that the public comments had absolutely no bearing on the agency’s decision, and that it was (and is) fully in the throes of regulatory capture.

The cyberattack was just a lie, meant to cover the underlying lie of the comment process mattering in any way.

Look, I’m pretty sure no one was converted one way or the other, but I do think it’s important to show just how hollow and poorly thought out these racist’s views really are.

I do agree with you, however, in that what we’re seeing now is the result of 50 years of poison being poured into peoples hearts and minds by Nixons southern strategy. The ugly truth laid bare. I don’t think it’s inevitable he would have won though, and I think Sanders could have beaten him by at least offering some

No, because we’re reminded on a daily basis of the consequences that of one moment of self centered grandstanding has had on the nation.

Saying Hillary lost the election is ignoring the facts:

Trump didn’t win. Hillary lost. I voted for her. But the DNC caused all of this, with their myopia and arrogance.

Andy Serkis plays Trump via motion capture.

The survivors will chose to simply not talk about this period.

Angry white dude here, but angry because I’m sharing the author’s disgust over the Greens, not angry at the author. Important distinction. Shit, I’m still mad at a friend of mine for voting Nader back in 2000—that sort of decadent altruism comes with a hefty price tag that real people have to pay.

Is it wrong that I find myself wishing her cancer had won?

As much as I’d love to rant about the need for a system of proportional representation and the utter failure of the two party system, he’s right. I mean it would be nice if we had proportional representation and parties had to form coalitions to get shit done, but we’re in emergency mode currently, so that discussion

Nah. To be honest, the left will be just fine. At least a jackass who was encouraging conflict and spreading lies -- sometimes literally selling snake oil -- is losing his voice and his inane money spigot.

The point wasn’t to hurt a political party, the point was that Alex Jones was breaking the law and becoming a massive liability for the platforms.

There’s no “the left”, only public corporations enforcing their policies (finally).

Really? Because I’m not worried about murdering one one in their backyard and having protesters show up at my wedding...

These pigs showed up at his house and shot him.  We're already there. Why the fuck should these murdering cops go without consequences. I hope they are protested forever!
