I’ve always hated the “X region is so racist” discussions because it’s just pissing in the wind. The US is a very racist country and the racist behavior manifests itself differently in different parts of the country. No one region is less racist than the other.
And my god, while the racism is definitely present, there are certain things people don’t say.
Reminder: The North is just as full of racist fuckwads—the only difference is that the South openly embraces its racist heritage, whereas the North tries to pretend it’s somehow better.
