How in the hell did Chevy SSR not make this list?

I will defend the Subaru BRAT to the death. It’s clearly a defiant design choice, but it’s not the “ugly” that you get by truck-carring a vehicle that was never made for the terrain (see Honda Ridgeline, previously mentioned), or over-designing a cartoonishly huge grille (GMC 2500), or just flat-out turning a napkin

Jeebus, that looks like they literally just tacked on an extra half a cab without any consideration and called it done... like a shade tree hack welding job.

That is some real Friday afternoon design right there.

The Chevy SSR. Unnervingly ugly, not good at anything except acting as a callout to other drivers that you make poor decisions. And in convertible form, it just looked worse.

it’ll probably crawl over just about anything

I think a less “trucky” variant would be awesome.

I’m listening...

The Dodge Charger - BRING BACK THE MAGNUM, you cowards.

I wish the CR-Z were a better car. My MIL has one, and I’ve driven it a few times. It’s sporty looking, but lacks the space to really be a “hatch,” and lacks the pep and vigor to be “hot.” It’s a shame because it had the potential to be so much more.

I think it’s really stunning, in a sleeper sort of way.

I’ve gotta go with the Korean twins (Hyundai/Kia).

This is pretty damn close to being Jalopnik mascot material.
I envy the winner of the auction.

Soaps were probably safer for the user.

If he said was left wing you wouldn’t even feel this way.

9,000 bucks for a FWD-based AWD turbo sedan with over 100K on it and the worst case of sunburn/acne I’ve seen on one of these in a while. ND.

“Never been hooned.”
“Has an intake.”

These two statements disagree with one another.

The Cybertrukk is the Heelies of vehicles.

I live in Central TX, closer to the Tesla factory, and I see the Silver Shitster on a daily basis. They seem to be more concentrated here.

I *do* see Rivians occasionally, but the Chevy and Ford EV trucks are less conspicuous... so I’d assume that’s why I don’t take note of them as often. They don’t scream

Good on her for valuing the life of her child over her car window.

Subaru WRX.
I prefer the hatch, but for the sake of purity on this list, go for the early GC WRX STi models. Pure sport, rally heritage, instantly recognizable. The very essence of sport sedan. Fine in stock form, even better with some basic bolt-ons.

And you’ll hear it coming! BRAAAAP.

Why buy a vehicle that needs rebuilding? Even if it were something special... which an early ‘00's GM really isn’t.
