As a native Texan, I can tell you that it has its fair share of idiots. And our governor (and his Lt.) both SUUUUUUCK. But Texas is large enough to also have very liberal cities. Austin is like an island in a sea of red. But we turned Williamson County (just north of Austin) blue last year, which is significant.

Sometimes it’s not even about budget. I love lowriders and mini trucks (they’re coming back!). I like fast cars, too, but cruisers made to be showy and comfortable are one of my favorite forms of vehicular expression.
