Timecop and Miami Nights both did remixes on GUNSHIP’s premier album along with Carpenter Brut. Make sure to check out “Revel In Your Time” if you like video-game themed music vids. Watch through to the very end if you ever played “Monkey Island”
Agree. Especially knowing John Carpenter did the intro to Tech Noir. Shadow Fury is one hell of a good song though. In fact, the only song on the album that I could take or leave is Black Sun on the Horizon. Martin Greech just doesn’t do it for me in that one. I wasn’t sold on Kitsune either until the LMV came out…
I mean, Lazerhawk is good and all, but if you’re going Synthwave, FM Attack is where it’s at:
You know what happens when you cross the streams of GUNSHIP and Carpenter Brut? Sheer awesomeness:
Same here!
I mean, FUTURECOP! is good and all, but if you’re going to go Synthwave, Trevor Something is where it’s at:
I mean, Mitch Murder is good and all, but if you’re going to go Synthwave, GUNSHIP is where it’s at:
Again, it comes down to distance and speed. Your example of the kerning issue is a non-issue with the vast majority of road signs. Most highway signs are one or two words generally separated by rows rather than spaces. In that sense, at speed, in the dark, with glare from headlights and everything else going on. It’s…
I legitimately laughed at that one.
Meh, they’re over-rated. If things have gotten that bad politically that you’re going to need one, you should have had plenty of warning to head for the hills with supplies to build yourself a new life in the wilderness.
It’s the rounded numbers and letters that really show as to the difference. Look at the sixes on the exit panel at the top of the sign. Now imagine it’s night time, raining, you’ve been hauling ass from somewhere in flyover country for the past eight hours with only one stop for fuel and to take a piss. You’re tired,…
The problem with using the Supra as a comparison is that as time went on, the Supra got more and more expensive and everything in the price range of younger buyers became more and more milquetoast. Scion was created to supposedly offer more appealing cars (they didn’t) with better financing options for younger buyers…
Nah, not really going fast enough to be instantly dead. Injured? Yep, but really, it’s not that much more dangerous than dodging idiots trying to ski/board beyond their ability on a black or double-black.
Google “workmate reloading bench” or “portable reloading bench” it’ll save you enough space that you can reload in an average studio apartment. Lee single stage press is economical and plenty fast for small batches (100 or so rounds).
Always wanted a Ross myself. They’re just neat, and so long as you don’t goof putting them back together, you don’t have to worry about the bolt embedding itself in your eye socket.
The good news on GP-11 is that the Swiss Gov’t has (from what I’ve heard) ordered another run of it to not only fund their own shooting…
Depending on the age and what materials it was manufactured with, it might not be so bad. Anything pre-30's is going to be 2.5" chamber most likely, and if it’s not nitro-proofed, then it’s definitely not going to handle a full charge smokeless load.
Now, if you want to talk shotguns that kick, any 3.5" “turkey”…
Bah! Commercial rounds need not apply given that this was originally a milsurp fight. ;)
Yeah, it’s not absolutely horrible, but it’s still one of the higher priced obsolete military rounds. 8x56mmR is really bad at $1/round for FMJ BEFORE shipping. I have a feeling that 7.5 Swiss is going to get up there soon too since the GP-11 surplus stocks have run dry.
Agreed.
