I know I am coming at this from a place of privilege, but I am a woman working in what is traditionally a man’s field (Construction Project Manager). If I take a day off, all that happens in my workplace is that my work doesn’t get done. It is still all there waiting for me when I get back.

What is very funny is that I once spent an hour looking for my car in the parking garage in the picture above. However that picture is of the second floor of a parking garage in Las Vegas, NV between the NYNY Hotel and the T-Mobile arena.

This was already Federal land... it is still federal land. Nothing was taken away from the state. It is just now a bit more protected.

I have been to Gold Butte a number of times. In order to get there, you drive past the Bundy Compound, with its mansions, giant warehouses, reservoirs, acres and acres of irrigated pastures, all along beautiful riverfront property. There are dozens of paddocks and stables and NOT ONE FUCKING COW to be seen on their

Required reading in 8th grade. Such a thought provoking story that I still remember it fully.

Where I live it is typically between 105 - 115 for 3 straight months and I have never seen the hood up...

The diapers were awful. We ended up donating them to a diaper bank.

Part of the reason I go to National Parks is to escape from technology and disconnect some. I use my phone as a camera but try to remember to put it on airplane mode while exploring to save battery life and keep from getting phone calls from my pest control service when I am climbing Angel’s Landing in Zion (which

Why are there only 7 in the picture? Did one of the boys get lost or left behind?

I have never understood why all women’s clothing designers believe that no matter our waist size, we all have a 30" inseam.

It is fairly typical for these phallic hotel towers to skip significant sections of floor numbers in an attempt to appear taller. #13 is bad luck and I’ve been told that #4 is bad luck to some Asians. Often times the floor numbers above the lobby will start at #10.

That chatter always includes a remarkable amount of discussions regarding poop: quantity, color, consistency, etc. Being a parent of small children causes discussions about poop.
