Jesus was introduced in the comics as "guy lurking outside of town". Jesus on the show as introduced as "rick and daryl run into him on a road trip". So they've taken Jesus' introduction and pasted it onto a mystery newbie. Unless it's just Jesus lurking around again cuz he likes to watch.

I'm guessing 90 of those 96 non-human deaths on Game of Thrones probably occurred in the last 2 seasons. They've only had, like, 1 white walker and a few wights on game of thrones die in season 1-4. the non-human carnage was mostly localized in I'm thinking "Hardhome" (1 white walker and wights) "The Door" (lot of

I wish Heath's last lines had been "Don't worry, Tara! I'm escaping to Fox for 24: Legacy on after the Superbowl!"

Rogue Two is how they got the Death Star II plans. Just basically a Bothan Bloodbath, pure grindhouse gore.

It does seem every week the review points out that it's a chore, lazy, dull, etc. It's getting to be a chore, lazy, dull, etc. to see that in a review every week, I tells ya!

"Koral! Don't swim near the coral! Get Carol!"
"….what?!"

Takin' it like a champ!!

Just you wait until Alpha and Beta show up (circa season 9 or 10), that'll be worth it!

I watched the TWD Season 7 premiere where Negan did some horrible things with Lucille and then I went right into the issue when Negan was tossed Lucille and proclaimed it his "invincibility fucking star". and then Lucille broke and it was kind of sad. The tonal shift between the two moments was kind of jarring.

Negan can tell Rick that he put his penis down Rick throat but AMC won't let Negan say "Fuck". I officially do not understand how AMC standards and practices works and what they find over the line.

I still think Cameron likes to write bad guys, Quaritch was some of the best stuff in that movie (although, yes, it was Stephen Lang doing it so he kicks it up several notches)

The spores alien infestation was a thing (as opposed to facehuggers) in one of the (various) Alien 3 earlier drafts, the one by William Gibson, I believe.

Yeah it was sorta Kevin Roberts again but A) it was hilarious B) it kind of goes back to the animatronics bit they did on the Jim Carrey episode (and earlier), so basically weird animatronics is a recurring bit. And usually Kenan Thompson is reacting angrily to it all, which is also a key point to keep in these

His "Who the fuck are you?" line is probably the best in the entire flick, though.

The show has always kind of been about death and the finale took that subtext and made it literal actual things the characters were talking about. and also death = series finale as well. It wasn't really maudlin, though, which is reallllly hard to pull off, but it did, making it more about choosing to go out on your

"Burn? It's already my vacation spot!" - Les Moonves, sitting on a throne made of the skulls of cancelled CBS shows.

Yeah Samaritan's final proclamation of "Inevitable" as Finch walks away as it flickers out it one of the best visuals of the series, kinda thematic for the whole thing (Technology saying it's taking over is inevitable but Finch saves everyone anyway cuz he's awesome)

I really liked this episode, it took the "Person of Interest" concept to pretty much the highest level it can go, but I was also hoping in another POI tradition, we'd get one final classic exchange.

What? Were you raised in a barn? Shut the door! Probably was raised in a barn, along with the other primitives…

It'd be dowright dopey if the entire ST blows by and we don't see Anakin's Force Ghost somehow. And don't go off on "It needs to be Sebastian Shaw", the Sebastian Shaw Force Ghost hasn't been a thing in over a decade.
