I've only seen the pilot episode!  And that was a month ago!  I'm sure there's some sort of wacky scheme I can still manage to catch all of this!  (PS, I only have a VCR and not a PVR so help me plan accordingly. SLP recording on VHS is about 6 hrs, right? And I work nights)

Catholic upbringing interpretation: Dexter died in the hurricane and he's in purgatory sawing logs for repentance!

Futurama never leaped home.

I actually really like McBride in "Tropic Thunder" and "This Is the End".  Everything else drives me up the wall.  But I'll still see this because it has Emma Stone in it.  I sat through "Ghosts of Girlfriends Past" and "Movie 42" for that woman.

I have no idea why, buy Maeby saying "This hangar can hold over 500 nerds!" is one of my favourite Maeby moments of the whole series (up there with "Well, now I'm just lying for no reason") and one of my favourite S4 moments as a whole.  I just like the way she sells it with so much optimism just because things are

Pacific Rim and some America's Got Talent and a lot of beer at a CFL game so some of the memories are a tad woozy.

The first two flicks are great, if anything I barely view Superman I & II as two separate movies, the climax to that particular story happens around the start of the third act of Superman II when Supes floats up outside of the window of the Daily Planet and says "General, would you care to step outside?"  (great bit

Moral of the movie: Always listen to your biological parents.  Even if you were adopted as a baby, blood relatives know better than the people who actually raised you.  Hurm.

That is genius idea, as far as I'm concerned that is also fact. Double feature time!

Only thing that really irritated me spoiler-wise was Pa Kent's "I'm gonna stand here and get sucked up into a goddamn tornado to teach you a lesson" death.  I know he's supposed to hide from the world but, GEEZ, Superman can also run really really blur-like fast, y'know.

Are we getting a Spoiler Space for this one?

I would say that McGreggor earned his paycheque for 3 straight movies just for his "you were the chosen one" speech, which was pretty fantastic.

Whedon can make very pretty movies.  True, he focuses more on the actors and the dialogue but I think saying his flicks aren't visually stylish is a disservice.  There's always a visual beat that looks great, think about the bit with The Operative and his sword in Serenity or the "circle around the Avengers

I liked this episode a lot but the lack of Affleck doing  Keith Olbermann again felt like a missed opportunity.  That is one of my fav. guest-centric sketches in the last few years because it was all Affleck and he just killed it.

Pharoh needs to be Mutombo quite alot next year.  And Strong is so pretty she can do whatever the hell she wants on Weekend Update.

I enjoyed the way it was staged, if anything for Pine in that moment.  The finger droop?  C'mon! Finger droop of death!  From Kirk!   I liked it way more than "It was … fun.  Oh my."  (Shatner improv'd the "oh my" line, which Braga / Moore point out on the "Generations" commentary track that it makes it sound like

I didn't see the Kirk/Spock reactor flip as cynical, I thought it was an interesting way to view it because in TWOK they have the history of their friendship behind it.  Here, Spock loses his friend JUST when he realizes that he has a freakin' friend.  Then, "KHHHAAAAANNNN!!"

Either that, or Skynet's geometric learning rate has reached the self-awareness plateau and the war with the machines starts on this particular web page. I call John Connor!

Voyager and Enterprise had great episodes inside of them.  It's like panning for gold but you can find something in there.  Not eveything Braga penned post-TNG automatically turned out awful.  Also Voyager had some really cool, unique episodes penned by Bryan Fuller.   Voyager gets really weird but I liked how far out

I think officially through the looking glass needs one more step: people to write 50 Shades & Twlight crossover slash fiction.  I'm afraid to google it.
