That sucks. Luckily we’re still in the lap stage and flying has been pretty smooth so far, nursing on takeoff and landing and lots of sleep in the middle. A friend told me that flying with a child from 4 months until they’re walking is easy. After that you’re better off staying home til they’re 4 or 5. Good luck with

This is your first kid, isn’t it?

That’s called a “bait and switch.”

Another trick: An old co-worker plus wife were renting a car to drive to a bigger airport 150 miles away. They get there to pick up the car and they’re REALLY pushing for them to get a SUV or mini-van for X amount of money. Tells them no-no-no, don’t need the extra space for 2.5 hour drive. Finally gets down to it

Get rental car insurance. It’s well worth the investment because if there is an issue, you don’t have to go through the hassle of reporting it. (especially to car insurance). I had an incident where a mirror was cracked in the lot where I left the returned car overnight. What a pain.

But how well will the cartridges run after going through the entire digestive system?

It further proves one can’t buy class.

This is so deliciously good.

More than likely it was not so much the student, but the parent who was expelled. I would suggest that we are not getting the whole story and that perhaps the media is doing a fluff job to cover up certain truths inconvenient to their chosen narative. The fact that the police became involved and are continuing to be

“but is a state-funded lottery pre-K, which does accept subsidies from the state’s child care and parent services program.”

Maybe in whatever shit school you went to. I distinctly recall learning about them whenever they were relevant at the point in history we happened to be studying, regardless of whether or not it was Black History month.

Actually, they pretty much do only teach about black historical figures for one month. Yes, Martin Luther King, Jr. gets one day in January. George Washington Carver may get a mention at some other time. Rosa Parks may get a mention. But, seriously, the entire reason for Black History Month is that they ARE ignored

That doesn’t have shit to do with her comment.

Because.... America? It does seem pretty tone-deaf (and disingenuous) to ignore the whole ‘Black History Month’ thing that’s going on.

“It really is a slap in the face. It didn’t sit well with me,” Molden told the news station. “We learn about everyone else’s history 11 months out of the year. We have one month.”

But also...............why is Walt Disney even included?!

I’m kind of curious to know that teacher’s justification for including Walt Disney, tbh.

Unless you’re autistic/ADHD/anyone who experiences hyperfocus, in which case you spend 2 hours trying to get started and then 4 hours straight working and if you take a single break it’ll take another 2 hours to get your focus back..
