The sad thing is, I already kinda tried a blog and got as far as Season 4 before abandoning it due to realizing I suck at it and no one was really reading it. Maybe I'll post the old links just for kicks.

I've had secret fantasies of magically getting a job at AV Club and doing early South Park episodes, but alas, it's great that you guys are finally getting around to it.

More importantly (for those still catching up with the show) WHEN IS SEASON 4 GONNA BE RELEASED ON DVD?! WHY MUST THEY CONTINUE TO TORTURE US?!!?!

My Top 5 Miyazaki (haven't seen enough Takahata or others to do an all-Ghibli list, but at any rate…)
1. Princess Mononoke
2. Castle in the Sky
3. Kiki's Delivery Service
4. Howl's Moving Castle
5. My Neighbor Totoro

Regarding Nikki and Paulo on Lost…

Wait…let me check…yep, I have no problem with this information whatsoever.

Fantastic episode. I knew I loved it right after watching it, but your take on the episode's "time slipping away" theme just re-enforced my love for it.

"“Frigid Spring” could be a lost take from Beck’s Mutations"
Truer words were never spoken.

IMO, the most exciting and creative seasons of Lost were 3-5, the ones that BKV worked on. Coincidence? Nope, he's just that awesome.

Oh, that was the film that broke my intolerance for zombie gore. I was all better after THAT scene. I saw all the Romero films and bunch of others about a year or two after that. I was even in love with Zak Snyder's remake of "Dawn of the Dead" (and to be honest, I still think the film is a tiny bit un-appreciated).

I was just about to mention that very scene from Shaun of the Dead. I was about 15 or 16 when I first saw it and not only was it the first true zombie movie that I had seen, but the first truly violent movie I ever saw. The aspect that truly got me feeling nauseous was just seeing the dude's limbs detach and split off

Trilogy, eh? That would work if all three were a part of the same day, each movie covering 6 hours worth of time, or something. Each season of the show felt like 3 different acts, so it would easily translate into a good trilogy.

"'ow do you say…come at me, bro."

When did Stephen Colbert start writing for the AV Club?

"…until we cover Firefly this summer."

So glad the Buffy/Angel blog's back. Noel, you really are too good at this. Also, Season 5 is my favorite season of Angel.

You make some fine points, but I'll still support the Razzies for the sake of revelry and the occasional, awesome moment when someone actually shows up to accept it. That, and it's not like the movies they pick AREN'T awful.

Every single thing about this article has made my life complete for today.
