Fuckin Tom Waits
I wanted to love his music (and a lot of is brilliant, don't get me wrong), but so much of it is utter shite that I can't decide how to feel about it. His lyrics are usually cool, though.

@Eff - It's "you cannot petition the Lord with prayer". And it totally is.

"Noah, I want you to build me an ark. An ark with a big room for poo."
Long-eared animals along the side, please….

Beast Wars?!?!
Holy Jesus Christ Monkeyballs, haven't thought of that shit since I was a kid.

Blood Sugar Sex Magik
…was their only good album, and even half the songs on THAT were shitty, or just overplayed (or both).

So…
…when is the supposed 'second-half' to the album coming out, anyway? I love Radiohead and all, but does anyone honestly give two shits about remixes?

Clocks is a good song, but it was tremendously overplayed. Those piano notes got to be extremely irritating. To be honest, though, really Coldplay's only great song was, in my opinion, "Don't Panic". It was in the Rescue Me pilot episode, and I've loved it ever since.

The House Always Wins
I can't help but have a bit of a soft spot for this episode. It's the first Angel episode I watched in its entirety, and I found it clever enough to want to start watching the shows. The idea of turning people into zombies to continually gamble nonstop was an appropriate metaphor. Plus, I agree

If you're British
The band name sounds like "Doors".

City Sushi
Loved the twist with Lu Kim, but I didn't like that they Principal Skinner'd it at the end there. Worth it for the Asian stereotype jokes, though.

"late 60s-early 70s" was referring to the time when the Vietnam War was actually going on, not referring to Happy Days' runtime specifically.

Happy Days
Wait…you're telling me…that something made in the late 60s-early 70s…had an ANTI-VIETNAM WAR message? Stop the fucking presses!

"Help"
Damn, that is a good episode, I forget about that one easily for some reason. The ending is very suitably harsh. Also, Gwen is a total comic book (specifically, Marvel) character. She should've made more appearances.

Best episode of the season so far…
The idea of having Kyle side with Cartman and become an obsessive apologist to Stan was brilliant. Stan's non-reactions were hilarious, as was the out-of-nowhere third act with the Slash/Santa stuff. As for the NCAA stuff, I wasn't too familiar with the situation (this article filled

@MistakenCheeseSandwich
-Well done. You get a cookie (redeemable for 2 and a half Internets).

The Lion King
is only good for Mufasa's death scene, because of how harsh it is for a kids movie. Other than that, the film is just another mediocre Disney flick.

*insert Crawling King Snake joke here*
To go slightly off-topic, am I the only Doors fan who never got into all the Jim Morrison hype? His poetry could be interesting, but he was only as good as the music he was singing along to was. His popularity unfairly overshadowed the other band members…you know, the ones

@Yummsh
I'd call you a fag but I like what you wrote about the Nerdist podcast on the other article, so I'll let you off the hook.

Interesting
I thought the stylings of the Nerdist podcast wouldn't catch onto the likes of most television outlets, let alone BBC, one of the biggest. Though the biggest problem with the podcast is that it's only as interesting as its guests are. Some of the celebrities they've brought on invoke some of the best

I'm a pretty big Whedon fan
But I'm only "eh" on the Avengers movie. I'm sure it will be well-made, though. If "Serenity" taught anyone anything, it was that Whedon knows how to juggle an ensemble cast, and is great with directing. But I lost the excitement for an Avengers movie at all shortly after Robert Downey Jr's
