Also, now we have fake news police, so there’s a (subjectively) arbitrary group of people deciding what news is real. This means that eventually the public will come to accept when the fake news police call opposing viewpoints “fake” and toss it in the same category as complete fabrication.

It’s the methanol. I had to look it up the other day because I didn’t know if it was possibly to drink yourself blind, and if it was, why that was. Ethanol won’t do it, but methanol can, but will simply kill you if you drink too much.

And that is not an accident in the U.S. When people don’t know how to determine fact from fiction, they are much more easily manipulated. Just tell people what they want to hear, and they will believe and act upon it.
