The Industry (RIAA, MPAA, IFPI, etc.) have only two things to do if they want to reduce piracy. Make it available and make it affordable. But it’s far more profitable to sue anonymous people for imaginary lost profits, for now.

The humans can handle it. The crops may not be able to. We don’t irrigate most of our crops, and we have no way to do it quickly in a pinch.
In scouts we were forbidden. It’s too easy to have an accident with a slip knot that only slides in one direction. I don’t know if that was a BSA rule in general, or just in our troop.
Eccleston.
I think I read about the class action suit on consumerist and then went and filed a claim about 2 years ago.
You’re still not discussing the importance of the non-binding resolution.
Good for you. Can we please escalate this “Gawker is the debil!” thread. I never get tired of all the puerile whining about clickbait, or as it was called for many decades, sensationalist headlines.
I really wish modern art had not become synonymous with those types of installations. They’d more accurately be described as socio-political art installations. It’s led to loss of funding to the National Endowment for the Arts.
Don’t try to paint me as some gluten-free crusader. Processed carbs are a problem, and especially in the U.S. where it’s far more expensive to get something less processed.
Bleached flour is waaay more processed than it was when we ground it manually.
The assist feature doesn’t prevent the driver from braking or steering and the driver cannot use it (for long) with their hands off the wheel. It also prevents the car from drifting outside the lane. Sounds like the next logical step to cruise control.
That’s because it’s still in alpha. They’re still working out that “How do we prevent children from getting hold of guns?” thing.
This completely ignores the change in food processing during the last 100 years. I think based on your assumption, you may be surprised by an awful lot of things that we’ve been eating that are now known to be bad for us.
I’ve never seen a study saying butter is better or worse than lard. I’d be surprised. They are both animal fats.
Lipid theory did not become prevalent until after Eisenhower. Eisenhower was a wartime president and low-fat was likely because resources were needed overseas, not because of health studies.
I’d read years ago that it could be made into cheese, and that it was similar to feta. Now, I like feta, but that thought still grosses me out. And breast milk from any animal is supposed to be geared toward new offspring of that species. So you could drink human breast milk as an adult, but the balance of nutrients…
Those union thus would be taken out by our political leaders, uh, I mean, diabetes, though.
Basically, if you can easily see other possible reasons for correlation beyond what is stated in the study, and the study does not describe methods to account for those correlations, take the study with a grain of salt.
Is Linus Pauling vindicated yet? He was one of the earliest and most vocal opponents of lipid theory and lipid theory has been the foundation of “healthy eating” for decades now.
And with the growing uncertainty of climate events, cities might be abandoned when people really have to start growing their own food.
