I believe they described the movement of the lava in such a way as to suggest it flows much more freely than it does here on earth because on earth we don’t have normal temperatures over 2000. So the author is justified in making the comparison in the title.

How about this? “This lava flows with a viscosity of 8.94×10^⁻⁴". Is that more conducive to a wide reader audience, where what that means then needs to be explained as “a viscosity similar to that of water?” What is the problem with saying it flows like water at room temperature?
