And when he talks, he sounds almost identical to Alan.

He looks like his pops, Alan Thicke. I watched a lot of Growing Pains growing up and because of this, find the whole thing hilarious.

I'm am anti-college-sports. I have a complicated argument for this, but it involves the devaluation of education, fanaticism, corruption and lack of parking anywhere near campus.

Maybe it was a typo and he meant "Hodag."

He's such a cheater.

Any time someone broke down in a Chris Farley sketch it was because he took it over the top. I also love the Zagat's sketch. I can hear Adam Sandler thinking "I'm going to kick your ass backstage!"

As much as I don't want to hear that kind of crap on television, I'm also kind of gleeful that CBS is allowing them to remain and dig deeper graves.

In its earliest days, when Christianity was a millennial cult who believed the Second Coming could happen at any moment,

Traditional discipline isn't violence. Spankings are not child abuse. Beatings are child abuse. If a spanking can be equated with a beating, it is not a spanking.

She was her 5 year old's best friend, and he was a terrible, entitled and somewhat violent brat, prone to temper tantrums that involved slamming his bedroom door repeatedly and kicking walls. Her strategy was to pretend not to notice, which only caused him to get louder.

Problems with network television programming.

"but just remember — there are a ton of people roaming the country in their cars, listening to talk radio, and thinking thoughts like, 'Gee, Rush really made a good point there.'"

I just hope anyone defending Marcus Beer, or your right to pile on Phil Fish, realizes they have gotten what they asked for.

I'm not going to comment on the story so much but to say this is a really fucking good article, Lindy.

I no longer created pit stains when I switched from antiperspirant to deodorant years ago. My pit-stained shirts were a lost cause. Not only were my shirts stained, but the texture was completely different in the pits. I just replaced them when appropriate sales came along.

In the wording of that question, there's a big difference between a respondent choosing "Very Likely" or "Somewhat Likely."

The majority of the public? A measurable minority, maybe.
