Because Illinois lawmakers are renowned for caring.

My cousin’s sister’s mechanic did poorly on it and he seems all there. To me, that proves that anyone getting a perfect score must have cheated. Or, something.

No shit. But Trump acing it is pretty good evidence that all of the folks claiming Trump has dementia are, themselves, crazy.

    This requires a SPECIAL PROSECUTOR!

You guys need to take a step back. Trump may be crazy, evil, etc., but at the moment his critics are the ones who appear detached from reality.

Simply not true. Perhaps in a full on Soviet vs. US exchange of old, that would be good advice. These days where the risk is more from a single smaller device, duck and cover remains (becomes) good advice. Surviving the initial blast means you have a good chance of surviving a long time afterward.

You forgot to mention his bankruptcies. :)

Perhaps. I think it’s more likely that his more rabid opponents are projecting a level of stupidity on him. Even though his business and now political success would seem to suggest the opposite.

    :)

Seems to me that we can have a system that allows surveillance of foreign persons while at the same time severely restricting the disclosure of any incidental collection of communications by Americans. I’m not sure what Trump’s order contained, but if it gets us closer to that policy structure, great. Even if he was

The irony is that people just end up making themselves look foolish in their attempt to paint Trump as [insert the current hyperbolic line of attack]. I think it was George Bernard Shaw who said: “Never to wrestle with a pig. You get dirty, and besides, the pig likes it.”

Perhaps. But IMO actually limiting/more closely monitoring the unmasking process is a good thing. That is the number one avenue of abuse against US citizens (who are not supposed to be monitored absent a warrant). We can all assume motives, but they are ultimately beside the point. Eg, Obama’s failure to control the

The article repeatedly defends the program. I’m old enough to remember how back when Bush was in office it was a sure sign of the “END OF THE CONSTITUTION”.

Why is pointing out flaws in a system, but ultimately recognizing it’s importance show he’s an “idiot”?

    Yup, he’s dumb. Got it.

He referenced a very real (and established) abuse of the system. One he reportedly attempted to lessen with an executive order last week - namely the unmasking process. Or is a sitting administration using universal surveillance against political opponents an acceptable thing now because Trump et al were the targets?

I love how people are now fully on board with universal surveillance since Trump has questioned it.

Yes, because Pim Fortuyn wasn’t actually burned. Just assassinated. So obviously, this is all much ado about nothing. Just keep bringing in millions of people hostile to your liberal culture. Nothing will go wrong.

The real minimum wage is always zero, regardless of what ignorant politicians decide.

If there appears any reasonable avenue for drug based treatments, “someone” (ie, another drug company) will. Thus why Pfizer spent untold billions chasing such cures. That’s the way the system works. And for the most part, it has been a very productive system.
