I realize the article says “Sony, Nintendo and Microsoft” and that Sega is no longer in the console manufacturing market, but it would be fun to see a list of prices/adjust prices for Sega consoles too.

I think you are right with price point being the main barrier to EV adoption; but I also think lack of interest by both the car-centric (e.g. Jalops, car people) and the public not really caring either way (appliance mobile) are part of it.
Not to mention range anxiety and lack of charge infrastructure throughout a

Routine maintenance like oil changes, brake pads and the like get me excited too, I feel ya’.

Like dogisbadob said, I don’t think there has ever been a time that a dealer has told me a fact about one of their cars that I didn’t already know. It’s like they aren’t even car people and can’t be bothered to read specs on the manufacturer’s website even...

Literally *EVERY* used car I’ve bought has ran into problems sooner than later, whereas the ones bought new have given me little to no issues.

The Civic base model doesn’t even start below $20k anymore?

2nd Gear: No one builds cars anymore? I mean seriously, when we say “car” and the likely image that comes to mind is a sedan/coupe of some sort, will that have to change to a crossover now?

First time I made ribs in years this weekend, was not disappointed!

Wall Control looks to be cheaper than the Omniwall.
The French Cleat design is probably cheaper overall, but that requires more time/mess fabricating as well.

At least its finally coming to the US.  I can look into a used one in 7-10 years and hope all the maintenance issues are well documented.

If I am remembering correctly, Wal-Mart is an official seller of Tomica in the U.S. If they have these high-grade sets is TBD though.

Had an ‘84 Z-28. Just not worth it, for a myriad of reasons.
(Mainly, lack of its ability to handle).

1st: Completely agree, tactile vehicle controls for most functions are best.

WHY, just *why* would it be good to operate a car hands free... I just don’t see the appeal. I know I’m (hopefully) preaching to the choir here, but this being promoted by one of the “Big 2.5" will only further its likelihood into other mainstream vehicles.

I think the interior looks great; two tone color scheme looks way better than “blank aesthetic” in the new 3 series.

Neutral: Diablo 3 looked pretty cool, but I have also been on a semi-multi-year gaming hiatus as well. FFVII Remake happened, glad I got to play it/was cool, but it’s back to the real world and a dusty console again I think.
Now that I’ve finally gamed some though, I echo the “gamer’s heart never dies” sentiment.

Great read, thank you for writing it!

I think you make a good point about getting the “average Joe” on board is why GM has the stance it does.

Love some Choro Q as well.  Micromachines are awesome, don’t get me wrong, but the SD look of Choro just... gets me.  Or I get it... either way.

I have a 2015 3 that has been a GREAT car. I always complain about the lack of “go” though, and this would definitely remedy that.
I’d definitely consider another 3 if the turbo is priced right!
