@vertigo: The account it's going to is a mule account. This is most-likely setup using a fake identity. It is then transferred to an account outside the US in a country/bank that prides itself on anonymity.

@kayanlau: Mmmm... yes and no. Agreed it's not really for the casual gamer. It is a pretty decent entertainment/media center (my non-tech mom actually bought one).

@vvmasterdrfan: Curious to your setup... You downloading on the PS3 and installing? What kind of connection do you have? Is it the PS3 slim or the fat?

@kayanlau: why would you want to utilize a 2nd PC just to update your system?! You still have to download from their site, copy to your USB and then copy to your machine.

@A.Jaswal: My connection is 15Mbs (avg. is about 9-10Mbs) down and it still takes a good 30-45 mins for everything to dl and update. This is with no one else using the connection in our place on a Wednesday during non-peak hours. (and yes, I've actually done this just to see how long it'd take)
