An autonomous car should be able to drive to the shop and get maintained when it needs to, or stop functioning if the owner doesn’t maintain it properly. Also I’m not REQUIRED to have insurance against a vandal, thief, or “act of god” on my other possessions. I do understand insurance, and I know with a self driving…

I absolutely don’t trust autonomous vehicles. I haven’t heard any of the autonomous car companies assure me that I wouldn’t have to pay car insurance. In a self-driving car, I’m not at fault. Therefore, I should have to pay $0 for insurance.

Military news first and foremost does not belong on Jalopnik, unless it is focused on military vehicles, and not the political clusterfuck of all the innocent people that military vehicle killed.

And to prove my point further, Foxtrot Alpha and Jezebel both posted separate, but similar articles about the recent Chelsea Manning Commutation news. They even used the same image for the headline.

I don’t like that the headlights slope down at the outside edges compared to the old design. That definitely gives it the “sleepy” look. Also not a fan of the triangular Naca duct styling of the foglight area. I don’t really care for the horizontal crease going through the center GT logo on the back.

Jezebel readers totally have more interest in political news than Jalopnik. This is political news, not automobile news, so it would be a better fit for Jezebel.

Please move Foxtrot Alpha over to Jezebel. These stories don’t belong on Jalopnik. There are no vehicles or transportation issues of any kind in this article.

Seems like lazy engineering. Every wasted spark is wasted energy.

I did watch the video. The spark fires every time the piston gets to the top, not just on the top of the power stroke.

It seems to be a 4 stroke engine, but with 2 stroke spark timing. I don’t understand that. Can someone with a better understanding of engines explain this to me?
