What did you expect from the stories? God please give me Vanquish 2... it ended on enough of a cliffhanger to justify it.

I guess just in general. Platinum was an extremely smart decision. No one would ever think that Platinum would be producing the most profitable games in Sega's library, but it's crazy to think that they might be.

I always got the impression that people liked the Wolverine game better than the movie....

Anything "solid" from Sega is practically amazing these days, especially from their Marvel licensed games....

Yes.

I've been told by developers at DICE that they are working on something with Mirror's Edge and Frostbite 2. Look at the mounting, running, getting knocked down, and jumping animations in Battlefield 3 gameplay.

Guess we'll find out when someone sees Captain America in 3D this weekend and the trailer plays in front of the movie.

Seriously... play the game.

Yeah, I'd offer the same advice to anyone hoping to write reviews on any type of media, but Doyle isn't the person to take it from.

My outlet [www.gamerevolution.com] is one of the oldest gaming sites still on the internet. We've got a legacy of review scores, with more entries than practically any other site on Metacritic's gaming section. Our score distribution has stayed the same through private and corporate ownership [www.gamerevolution.com]

My paycheck begs to differ.

As a professional game critic I have two words to say about this:

Bingo.

Wow, they just sold a WHOLE LOT of new copies of Uncharted 3.

The iPhone 5 DESPERATELY needs some slide out button interfaces....

Even though I've turned my beloved hobby into a job, it's still such an amazing feeling to be there. I don't want to sound like I'm bragging or anything, so if you're reading this, seriously, start a fucking blog. Start writing every day. Cover the news, post videos, everything. Keep doing it, even when you're not

I read about E3 in Nintendo Power and wanted to be there sooo badly. This was like 1998. E3 2011 was my second E3 but it felt like the first time all over again. It's like gamer mecca.

So I guess it's a working weekend for me. Unless I manage to squeeze in Dungeon Siege 3 (which I'm loving), Uncharted 3 Beta, or any number of games in my backlog.

Review for Transformers: Dark of the Moon is in the can, and now I've got to start working on Gatling Gears before Gundam Dynasty whatever gets in my mailbox....

I love that just under 15% of people who own the game haven't even started it. Valve economics is just as fucked up as Valve time.
