Is that the lucky dog pass?

....and a Falcon, great stuff........mos tpeople dont realize how many different cars once raced in TransAm besides Mustangs and Camaros....javelins, dodge Darts, Falcons, Cougars, Barracudas and so on. I seem to remember that a Dart actually won the first over 2 liter Trans Am race.

As a former fleet manager I can say better late than never. 80,000 pounds of truck should not be rolling along at 75 (plus) anywhere that other much smaller vehicles are. Over and above the safety issue is that of mileage and emissions. The drivetrains in those trucks love running steady state speeds and lower is

I have to wonder if GM kept the car.......in the basement somewhere or if it got crushed. I’m thinking crushed like Honda crushed their nuts.

I’ve been to a million car shows over the last 5 decades and have seen a lot of strange things and I still can’t figure this one out.

....and rare is the person that needs to tow very much, indeed rare is the person that even needs a pickup. I bet the Ridgeline could handle 90% of what most people throw at a pickup. The rest need a F350, you don’t.

Pretty much perfect.

Since I have one.......a 60's pickup with a 6. Impossible to break, goes slow so you can enjoy the ride with the windows down, can be fixed with a knife and some wire. Super cheap mechanical parts. Mileage sucks but you also get waves and thumbs ups so the trade off is well worth it.

Rich over at Monterey, rich with balls at Laguna Seca.......

I have a new Subaru Forester and its a box, no soul but a great tool. My 68 F100 is all soul and I’d rather drive it. Clarkson is so right.

1st gear- that is great news. It was California who pushed the auto makers to do better when they kept saying they couldn’t. In the 60's and 70's they said the mileage numbers were impossible and power would be non-existent. California held tough and now we have the most powerful cars, getting great mileage, while not

I have a 68 F100 stepside that might look real good doing this. Its bone stock and not lowered so there would be much ore steering input....and I do have a brodie knob.

I’ve been fucked by so many cars its about time they got a little....

I never paid much attention to 0-60 or top speed. I want to know how the roll on power is 30-70mph where it matters.

Wait thats a V-12....oh the horror of it all....not to mention it look slike not very good wine stuck in it.

A few compromises? I say Pontiac Aztek, used, hard.

I am not that frugal as I value my time beyond everything. Name the one thing you can’t ever get more of? Time. So I do the best I can by being aware of typical prices of items we use and buying if I notice its at a lower price.

Well the kids in sports these days are coddled little babies. However Harbaugh is also out of his mind so its a shit storm in the making.

Neutral: Old dudes with cash are dying off. Boomers spent all their money on faux choppers by OCC and the ilk trying to be Billy Bad Ass. Millenials want a car they don’t drive so they can jack off to Pokemon while getting somewhere. Classic car market is not doomed but it may back up to the sane range. The only car I

The Buff has to be the best value for the buck that the US military has ever had.
