Living in Japan as part of the armed services has been interesting, as our restrictions due to COVID have been much, much more extreme than what Japan has been doing. They just today turned Kyoto back from a “travel with caution” to an off limits area.

I wanna go but will wait until mid-December and hope the lines die down. As much as I love living in Japan, I’ll never quite wrap my head around how many people will wait in lines forever here. I’ll rarely wait more then 10 minutes if a restaurant is full!

This game is amazing and the most funny game I’ve ever played. Any game where I can persuade an elderly man to give me his delicious sandwich, try to force feed it to my partner while making choo-choo sounds, then throw it on the ground screaming “I CAN’T BE BOUGHT” is a damn good game.

While I am a bit bummed there isn’t much difference in Sekiro’s NG+, compared to some previous From titles, there is a good reason to give it at least one more playthrough on that mode. One of the endings you can pick ends with two completely different boss fights, and they are fantastic and well worth experiencing.

They aren’t supporting it in terms of updating it with new cards but it’s still the best resource for someone brand new to learn the game, and has a good pool of cards to pull from to introduce and refine concepts. And being free it does no harm for someone new to Magic to download and check out.

Magic Duels is a Free to Play game that would be perfect for someone brand new to Magic. It doesn’t go super deep into the complexity that Magic can bring, but it focuses well on all the basic concepts of card types, turn order, interactions, etc.

It’s a real bummer, the game is fantastic and I haven’t been into a multiplayer game for a good long time, but with this and server issues and horrible Peer to peer matches, I spend more time in menus then in game.
