I disagree. The rendering looks like a mustang rear end hastily photoshopped onto a c8 with the windscreen pushed back. The C7 looks much better than that render.  That said, I adore the C8 body. 

This looks to me like a case of someone restoring a reasonably common classic car to fit their tastes and match their favorite parts from throughout the lifespan. The choices seem very intentionally made. Obviously though any car being purchased should be inspected heavily especially something like this.

Actually read the article and this is even better than I originally thought. This isn’t my favorite from the mid-60's to early-70's (or even my favorite classic ‘Stang for that matter), but having a not-numbers-matching classic is incredibly freeing. Saw the cover photo and voted NP immediately. I don’t care if it runs, if its infested with rats, or if Osama Bin Laden owned it. That fucking thing is fucking gorgeous, and is worth every penny.
