Sorry to hear that...I seriously hope said woman + her spouse weren’t allowed back on campus...

Sigh :/ more than likely not happening. Alfas also run in this class in IMSA and that car’s street counterpart isn’t even sold here...also for S&Gs read up on the TCR entry for Link & Co. They have a very loose interpretation of what a 'street' counterpart is for their racecar...
Bitch McConnell wishes he could be compared to Ol' Palps...but agreed. As much as we'd all like an actual impeachment to take place it's doubtful. The silver lining so far is the inflammatory and not surprisingly stupid way Donny two scoops is handling the situation. It will hopefully be enough to get any independents…
Yessir. Turo is a must for at least a day or two out there.
One of the funnest things I’ve driven. An absolute joy while in motion. It truly is a toy and a complete occasion to drive one. More so than the 718 GTS I’d add. I don’t think I’ve gotten any more thumbs up or looks other than when the Type R was still fresh (of approval or disapproval?). Especially when the optional…
Nah. I’d wager that the real reason for abluetooth setup is cost. They’re not cheap in the aftermarket (companies like Remus do this for example). But programming it into the ECU and infotainment is probably still a bit more work and cost than a simple valve controlled by app and a tiny Bluetooth enabled motor.
Yup. In the way that Trump owning Diablo decades ago made him an ‘enthusiast’...
Whole site disregarded you after that first comment. Feel free to fuck right off at any time to Teslarati with Ahorner. Oh and Musk said no you’re still not getting that check for your services. Tough shit.
So you get to to just dismiss the opinion of someone clearly more qualified to speak on the subject because...reasons. But get hot and bothered at the mere notion that your POV isn’t worth the bytes it’s taking up on this page...because why would it be? HA...tracking is serious business. If you think common sense…
Agreed. Figured 0-60 was already dead even in the eye of casuals...since not all of the buying public is part of the Teslarati crowd and the Church of Elon....But how about actually getting credibility with people who give a damn about motorsports or just fast cars in general? Get off Twitter and take Tesla racing. An…
And this is why Musk will struggle to bring a lot of car enthusiasts to the brand. He’s obnoxious for one, but he blatantly ignores the fact that actual car people see past the BS headlines. Especially when every weekend midly prepped cars with proper tires match or exceed a 1:36...
‘Non-car people’. Enough said. Who cares? I certainly can’t spare a thought about what laptime a Z06 or ZL1 owner can quote at X track if I had no trouble getting a point by from their colleagues (who actually track them) on my last track day in a factory hot rodded family hatch. So let the sheep brag and speculate.…
If we’re talking 4 doors a Type R with proper tires, upgraded suspension, a few cooling mods, and a tune has done it in the 1:38s. Less than 5 grand worth of upgrades. So even if the fastest 100k plus model S could match that.. color me not impressed. Same driver can do 1:38s in a practically stock C6 Grand Sport just…
Not really. Engineering Explained has a good video explaining how this gimmick is actually functional and reduces lag. Plus European cars have been doing pops on decel for quite some time now.
GT500 will pobably handle just fine based on everyone's take of the 350. And I’ve seen enough C7s on track with me to know what they can do. So not sure what you're on about.
The 718 is a fine car. A absolute scalpel on the track, almost too good I’d say. I almost preferred how flawed a 4C is in contrast. But still, damn near flawless. Too bad about the Nazi Officer’s name emblazoned across the back...
Awesome turbo stuff has been done since the 70s though...just wish a few cars were still wedge shaped like back then. As much as I like the new Vette for example, you can’t deny the same basic Mid-engine high-end look it shares with some of its potential peers.
Except you won’t find a 50k base 718. I’ve tried for S&Gs. Any pre-built ones are loaded with options and are already in the 70s, base motor... And I don’t know how successful a stripper 718 order will be at the local dealership. I honestly wonder if anyone has been successful. Sounds like a good article to write.
FWD 1 Series and loaner-spec 3 Series/X3s =/= same thing as an automatic only Corvette. That is a stretch and you know it sir.
And about 20 minutes away from some bomb ass gas station tacos on 85. Well a taco shop AT a gas station but still...it’s a must when going through. Taqueria Lucha Libre ftw.
