Speed limits are still mostly 55 mpg in Northern Virginia/DC but this morning I drove past a cop at allegedly 70 mph and he didn’t bat an eye because everyone else was going the same speed. A 55 mph restriction won’t change how fast people travel in urban areas.

Unrelated but GET THE FIT! There’s no subcompact on the market that feels even close to as well built. Not necessarily the most fun car in its class but I adore mine. 35 mpg combined with a lead foot (I do a decent amount of city driving) and everything feels high quality (every button, every switch, the doors, etc.).

Considering that BMW has lost a higher percentage of sales to Tesla than any other company I don’t think this is just a purist opinion anymore. I know people who know nothing about cars that drove BMW’s cause they liked the way they felt and thought the cars made them like driving more. That just isn’t the case with

Hot take: Black is the worst wheel color and makes an expensive wheel look cheap and plasti-dipped (exception being carbon revolution wheels ofc).

There is no value in V6 SN95's. There are some decent V6 S197's that MIGHT be preserved one day but all V6 SN95's are destined to become parts cars for the GT’s.

I’d understand if you said Lincoln. But Cadillac...really? I think higher trim Hyundai’s and most Mazda’s have nicer interiors than Cadillac does. (I’m assuming you’re talking about interiors cuz I can understand people loving Cadillac exterior design)

I want to keep my Fit as a daily but get an S2000 as a weekend car. Your vote of confidence makes me feel great!

Lexus and Audi alternate on interior quality from model to model. Audi has Lexus absolutely LICKED when it comes to their Crossovers, their smaller cars have slightly better interiors but the Lexus LS and LC have absolutely stunning interiors.

Literally that’s it. But Honda even goes out of their way to make those things more convenient for their economy cars since they know that those buyers might actually work on those. For example, the engine filter compartment is held together by very well engineered latches instead of bolts that rust or freeze closed

Have you ever seen an F12 (not tdf) in person)? They are very small and the detail work comes across as muscular as opposed to overwrought. Also you are crazy cuz the 458 Italia is one of the prettiest cars of the 2010s (agree with you about the Speciale though).

What things about BMW’s make you go “thats brilliant! If I built a car, I would do it that way”? I drive a 2015 Honda Fit that I wrench on myself and I’m constantly loving all the little things Honda does to make them easy to work on yourself. Especially when compared to wrenching on my parent’s Odyssey. I love 1

Lexus interiors are better than BMWs and on par with Audi’s (and the big money Lexus’ are even better! Think LS or LC). Genesis interiors are below those and Acura and Infiniti’s are below Genesis. There’s a reason no Japanese make has been able to crack the luxury market like Lexus.

ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS

The Diablo was actually mostly designed by Chrysler designers cuz the original design was ugly and Gandini refused to change it.

enthusiast who want a sport car”

I pulled up next an Indian Chief Classic when I was driving the other day and was shocked by how quiet it was. I guess people who ride Indians aren’t douches like Harley Riders.

Motor Trend tests EXTENSIVELY with racing drivers to get the absolute fastest possible times. Top Gear just had the host do a few runs.

My fit has a dark interior but since the windows are so darn big it doesn’t feel claustrophobic at all.

These 6.3s are about to experience the real killer of AMG’s for decades...

The steering feel gets better with summer tires and the stick is waaaay crisper feeling than anything Toyota has ever made. The beam axle suspension is a little bouncey but that allows the floor to be super low and the darn thing has a TON of interior space. It’s SUPER tossable and genuinely a ton of fun, it has
