I don’t know if I agree with your logic. AR implies taking the existing real life scene and superimposing new objects onto it in appropriate places based on plane-scanning the space. VR replaces the entire scene with something completely different, thus paying no mind to the existing world.

I’d much rather play a Dragon Quest mobile game than Pokemon Go, myself. Plus, Pokemon Go is rife with cheaters, and Niantec doesn't enforce its in-game rules at all.

As a huge Dragon Quest fan since the first game was released in 1989, I can safely say that I will be pissed if this game doesn’t release internationally.  Take notice, Square people paid to read comment sections of news articles about your games. ;)
