The CX-5 basically has the same amount of cargo room as an Outback or a Jetta Sports Wagon. Both of which are much more fun to drive. The outback is much more capable too.

FIRST NEVER ALL-SEASONS. Worst then the CUV is the all season tire. I run Snow tires in the winter and Z+ rated Summer tires in the summer. Why would anyone drive in the winter with All Seasons....I mean maybe if you only get few feet of snow and your salts the roads to prevent ice.

Forester also has more ground clearance than most if not all CUVs.

See I’m picky about Transmissions (must be Manual), engines (v8 or Turbo), and getting places not getting stuck (Limited Slip Diffs). All that stuff you mentioned i don’t know if even notice it most days.
