These are the stories we need more of. Sadly something like this won’t get as much attention as a police shooting. I’m sure things like this happen more to people of all colors it’s just not something we’ll ever see in the news.

I never said I don’t like them, they are just unsustainable...but hey they are basically subsidizing my ride at no cost to me (sorry investors in uber) so as an end user there’s no problem.

That’s the point, nothing about Uber is sustainable.

So the only option before Uber for you was to drive drunk or not go out? The problem with the increase is they will become more expensive than alternatives.

But even that real fair increase assumes they don’t have to split any of the increase with the drivers.....which is nice on paper but in reality the drivers will fight to maintain their same Rev share.

If uber has any hope of making money that’s about what it would take.

It would have to be over double the cost for uber to even come close to breaking even. So would you pay 3x?

And blocking all traffic would have saved which one of them.....none of them....it’s a stupid precaution that costs cities way to much money and American works way to much time.

This is how our president should travel...there’s no need to shut down roads and effect the working class every time you come to town.

No, I don’t think they should be required by government regulation. I don’t think politicians know the best way to make a safe car and I think we should let car makers decided what tech is needed to meet the safety requirments. And we should let consumers decided what level of safety they require.

But see Unions Require health care, some pay for education expenses, and workers need more pay when cheap money is lent out and increases the cost of housing. So yes we are talking about it.
