It may seem easy to dismiss this guy because of an obvious corporate interest in sustaining their profitability from their ICE products, but even a broken clock is correct twice a day.

It’s definitely not BS. Major players in the airline industry are already ramping up on SAF (“sustainable” aircraft fuel). I do think it’ll be a stretch to make any real dent in air travel emissions and have any capacity to produce sustainable fuel for cars, but it isn’t nothing.

Hydrogen derived from clean sources may be a fantastic option for long distance travel, especially if scaling up batteries doesn’t work as intended.

I'll reserve judgement on synthetic fuels. It's not impossible that they'll be viable.
