I leased a current gen Tacoma right when they came out, and good lord, can I verify this. At first I just chalked it up to a drivetrain built to hit 250k miles needing to be bit rough around the edges, and me only having driven V8 trucks to that point. Since I gave it back it really has donned on me how shit it was.

1st Gear:

This is a great way of putting it. From like Mid-March to Easter there was a genuine sense that politicians understood how dire this was and were acting accordingly. But by May, everything going on at the federal level was just posturing.

Yeah, that was quite an existentially dreadful comment for a Friday afternoon. I’ve enjoyed this conversation. Have a nice week, Mr. Cheap Bastard

Disagree there. I don’t think the hippies became those people in the 80's. They all existed at the same time, and you only heard about the hippies because they were the ones marching in the street with a megaphone. And in spite of all of that intense protest going on for 5 years, Nixon still won the ‘72 election by a

Your nuance in discussing these topics is enabling to the worlds evilest people! You are equally as bad as them! Fuck you!

Neutral: Bought a 10 year old, 180k mile 4runner to use as my winter/construction site/whatever the Mustang can’t do beater, but frankly I have been driving it more than that just because its so pleasant. MPG’s are dogshit though.

Yeah, it’s really goddam weird how that stuff works. The ‘16 and ‘17 ports for the Mustang look identical from the outside, and only slightly differen on the back end. In any event I wish them the best of luck. Using Waze as your in-car navigation freaking owns.

*homerism alert*

Fair enough. I think most of the Iphone’s dominance is a result of them simply being the first to roll out the whole concept (starting with the Ipod touch) and getting everyone hooked on their UI. That’s the primary reason why despite my boss repeatedly asking, I’m not replacing my personal phone (Iphone) with my work

I figured, and I also assume a Ford is a bit easier to work with than a Lexus. But I’m fairly certain that so long as the car is post-2015 MY, the hardware compatibility is just down to which generation of USB port you have. If the port is integrated into the cluster/infotainment , I get that being a bigger problem,

I remember test driving the refreshed Colorado a few years back, and I asked the salesman (I knew the manager so we had a good relationship) if they had any versions with a manual on the lot.

Indeed, different strokes for different folks. My companies office is in the Chicago suburbs. A few of us live in the city, while other folks live further out and get acres of property and a huge homes for the same money. Nobody thinks the other is wrong.

It’s a punch in the face vs a punch in the dick. They both suck, but not caring for getting the less painful option just means you’ve given up.

Have they done any research into it themselves? I upgraded my ‘16 Mustang to CarPlay (not available until 2017) by updating SYNC (Ford Website Download to USB) and replacing the USB jack in the center console (like $30 on Amazon).

I had the same feeling until I figured out from the blurb he drives to Indiana for work.

Brain fart judging the age range there. I frequently forget I’m a millennial because I just barely make that group. (Sidenote, important to remeber all that shit is arbitrary. I consider myself a millenial not because I was just barely born in time, but because 1. I was not surrounded by screens at the start of my

Depends on the market segment. Secondhand premium sedans go for pennies on what they sold for new, because that’s such a tough sell when you can lease or finance a new one for so little (not to mention interest rates being double on the used one).
