Related: “Big-Ass Fans” is actually a name-brand HVLS fan company that I deal with quite a bit in my profession.

Nope, it’s 4WD. I’m concerned that there might be something wrong with it why he’s giving it away but the only oddball thing i can see is the 3rd row seats are missing.

no, but I would be getting it just for explicitly truck stuff so I wouldn’t mind. And the thing is freaking mint.

I’m in Chicago so normally we are in the exact same boat. Normally 5k gets you a GMT800 with 175k+ and rust behind the rear wheel arches. This guy is giving the damn thing away and I am shook.

Completely unrelated to anything in here but I found a ‘03 Tahoe on craigslist for 5 grand with 108k miles and no visible rust holy shit holy shit holy SHIT someone hold me I’m hyperventilating

Article: Driving with windows down exposes you to whatever is in the outside air more than if they were closed.

Wish I could star this 100 times. I got the pleasure of driving the one of the bigger current crossovers (still can’t be bothered to figure out the name) and I’ll be damned, it was great. It was spacious and really comfortable like you would expect the Cadillac version of the standard generic crossover to be, which I

The only thing I would amend this with is that current financing makings buying those bigger, expensive, higher-option cars attainable for more people. Not even necessarily people who are gonna get repo’d, but people who look at their budget/income and make a conscious decision to spend 7 years paying for a car

Even on the freaking mechanical level:

I meant from when they first started making cars. But my point is that in the best case scenario, Nikola is where Tesla is 10 years ago, so calling Nikola a disappointment at this point is nonsense.

Seriously, it says right in the blog that this was their first time reporting earnings. Hasn’t the punchline been with Tesla that they never turned a profit for like 6 years? Did anyone expect Nikola to be much different?

If consumers actually put their money where their mouth is then “cheap and sensible” would be dominating the market. However, it’s not.

That’s fair! Although my idea might involve getting private equity involved. Which is arguably worse than the stock market.

Harder to tell in that business. Computer/processor advancement grows exponentially so its hard to discern if anything new/good that they have done is a product of not having to do things just to satiate stockholders, or if its general progress that was coming anyway.

Exactly. There has to be someone in a boardroom who looks at the profits, then looks at the way their stock price gets hammered, and just thinks this is all complete nonsense.

Kinda excited for Farely. He seems like a bit of a goofball on twitter, so hopefully that means he’s creative as CEO.

Re: Category 3

Bingo. I remember having conversations about this when they announced next year’s shootout. If they ran the legit Low-Drag Package around the 24h course, they would be doing 210 by the time they hit the tri-oval. Along with the brakes going nuclear, the gearing would need to be an equally wild setup to optimize the

Indeed. I should have mentioned that I was the IDEAL sceneario where I knew I’d be using the hell out of a pickup for a few years, then I would not need it anymore. On top of that, the payment for leasing 3 years was half of financing over 4 years would have been *before* I put anything down.

And if Tesla is getting those from a supplier, lord knows they are using the lowest bidder for those castings.
